About Us
The CAJUNDOME & Convention Center is a multi-purpose facility that will enhance the entertainment quality of life and the economic vitality of Greater Lafayette by attracting concerts, family shows, sporting events, and conventions.
The CAJUNDOME was built by the State of Louisiana, partly funded by the City of Lafayette, and owned by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. On a daily basis, the facility interacts with individuals in each of these three governmental entities.
The commission that oversees this operation is comprised of a five (5) member board and are appointed as follows: Dr. Joseph Savoie, The University President; Dr. DeWayne Bowie, a representative for the University; Mary Guidry; Tim Metcalf and George Favaloro, two appointees of Lafayette Consolidated Government.

CAJUNDOME Commission Meetings
The CAJUNDOME Commission typically meets monthly on the 4th Monday of the month. Meetings are open to the public; however, we do ask that anyone that plans to attend RSVP by NOON on the Friday prior to the next meeting due to COVID safety protocols.
Due to the upcoming holidays, the final CAJUNDOME Commission meeting of 2024 is scheduled for Monday, April 22, 2024, at 1:30 PM. Please RSVP by emailing MLandry@CAJUNDOME.com by Noon on Friday, April 19, to attend the meeting in person.

The CAJUNDOME is committed to maintaining a work environment that is free of
