Our age brackets will be 19-35, and 35+, 50+ 60+ 70+, 80+
Registration is by skill level: <3.0, 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5+.
Please note: Groups may be combined or split to facilitate play.

Registration fee includes participation in up to 2 events.
** Please make sure your partner registers as well and is paid within 7 days or you may be placed on a waiting list.

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player and the age of the younger player. If you do not have a rating and are self rating, please advise tournament directors. Tournament Directors will have final say in self rating.

Weekend Schedule

Practice courts will be available on Friday on a first come basis from 2 PM- 7 PM. Please make an effort to share courts if necessary to ensure everyone gets a chance. A player welcome reception will be held from 5 PM - 7 PM with entertainment, select food & beverage and door prizes.

Saturday- Men's and Women's Doubles. Check in to begin at 7 AM- Matches will start at 8 AM. (exact start times for each division will be available Wednesday evening/Thursday morning ) Courts are available for warm up Saturday morning starting at 7:30 AM.

Sunday- Mixed Doubles. Check in to begin at 7 AM- Matches will start at 8 AM. (exact start times for each division will be available Wednesday evening/Thursday morning) Courts are available for warm up Sunday morning starting at 7:30 AM.

Each division will play a round robin format. First two matches will be best 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 1, 3rd game to 15 win by 2, if needed. Groups may be combined or split to facilitate play.

Parking- Free parking is available at Cajun Field. Free daily admission onto the Cajun Heartland State Fair grounds to access the Convention Center and tournament included with player fee.

Spectators will be allowed to set up chairs inside. No tents can be set up on the courts.

Player Hospitality room provided with complimentary snacks and water.

Players will receive a complimentary tote bag including tournament t-shirt, sponsor information and swag.

Additional concessions will be available for purchase on the Fair grounds.

Friday Pickleball Clinics

INTERMEDIATE CLINIC: 3.0 – 3.5 Rated Players (CLINIC FULL)
TIME: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM or 10:00 – 11:30 AM

This clinic is designed for the player who has been playing pickleball awhile and is ready to take their game up a level. It’s not as hard you most people think.

Rodney “Rocket” Grubbs and Josh Grubbs are two of the most recognized players and instructors in pickleball. Both are legacy 5.0 players, certified IPTPA Pickleball Coaches and travel the country helping pickleball grow through their company, Pickleball Rocks and the Pickleball Rocks Training Academy.

In this clinic, Rocket and Josh will cover:

The best grip for best results.

The pendulum swing and why it is so important.

Why you dink and why and when you drive.

The magic of the swing shot wall.

TWO easy changes that will improve your game almost instantly.

Drills that you can and should do every day.

You will learn each drill and hit a lot of balls.

You will leave with a 21 Day homework plan to jump to that next level….and stay there.

BEGINNER CLINIC: 2.0-2.5 Rated Players (LIMITED SPOTS REMAIN)
TIME: 12:00 - 1:30 PM

This clinic is designed will be 90 action packed minutes for the players who are just getting started and want to improve quickly. All the basic strokes will be covered.

Each paid player will receive 90 fast paced minutes of training plus a $10 Gift Card redeemable at the Pickleball Rocks Traveling Store booth at the tournament.

Early Bird Registration Deadline: April 30 at 11:59 PM

Final Registration Deadline: May 12 at 11:55 PM

Cancellations made BEFORE the entry deadline will receive a full refund (less processing fees) provided a valid medical excuse. Registration fees are non-transferable.

Players who withdraw after the entry deadline will NOT receive a refund.
